Philosophy

Having spent 30+ years in the luxury apparel industry focusing on personalized styling and service, I have turned my focus to assisting in turning a house consisting of walls and windows into a home where memories are made and shared with our families of birth and our chosen families—both of which we love and that love us in return.  

Over the wonderful years of my former career I would often wardrobe clients for trips… invariably they would speak excitedly about a planned stop at one of their favorite designers boutiques and would ask what perhaps they should purchase.  My longstanding response was always rooted in the values my parents raised me with: its about who you are, what you stand for, what you actually do in life and how you will evaluate your life by the memories you made and the positive touch you had in someone else’s life. I would always suggest they skip the sweater, shoes or scarf and seek out a museum where undoubtedly they would find an artist pouring their soul into creating.  I would go on to advise they ask to purchase a work from that artist that they would return home with and have to share with others for the rest of their lives and thus creating a tapestry if you will of their lives.  Both of my parents were artists in their own manner and I am blessed and grateful to have had their wisdom, guidance, support, and love, as I became a creator myself.
